Survey Manager Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our client's team in Houston, Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate land surveys and investigations
- Prepare Topographic Maps, Boundary Adjustments, Subdivision Maps, Records of Survey, and Legal Descriptions
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including boundary calculations and legal ownership requirements
- Oversee project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Serve as an advisor to engineering teams regarding projects, tasks, and operational needs
- Apply standard land surveying concepts, practices, and procedures with professional judgment
- Perform complex boundary and topographic surveying and mapping tasks
- Lead, direct, and mentor field survey crews and survey technicians
- Demonstrate creativity and independent judgment in problem-solving
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
- Strong client-service orientation
- Self-starter with a collaborative, team-focused mindset
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
Education & Licensure:- Bachelors degree preferred
- Active Texas Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license required
