Registered Respiratory Therapist-Per Diem

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients, following established medical staff protocols and department policies.

Per Diem shift:

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Deliver medicated aerosols via compressed gas and provide airway management.
• Advanced Procedures: Assist physicians with invasive/non-invasive procedures, perform intubations, and insert arterial lines.
• Critical Care: Manage mechanical ventilators and monitor patient responses.
• Diagnostics: Perform blood gases, pulmonary function studies, and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests.

Facility Requirements (Strict)

To be considered, you must have the following requirements:

• Certification: Active National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) RRT or CRT certification.
• Licensure: Active Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner (RT) license.
• Life Support: Active BLS & ACLS certifications (must be through the American Heart Association).
