Job Summary

Up to $2,500 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility

Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Performs various respiratory therapy services at an advanced level in accordance with departmental policy and procedure to insure therapeutic or diagnostic procedures prescribed by physicians are carried out in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated skill with office machines, computer, hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and patient therapeutic equipment/machines etc. • Provides direct care to assigned patients, maintains patient privacy and confidentiality of information at all times. • Demonstrates the ability to assess patients understanding of and compliance with instructions. • Maintains stocked supplies and gas cylinders. • Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. • Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

Required:

• Education: Graduate of a CoARC accredited respiratory care program. • Licensure/Certifications: Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license with ABG Analyst endorsement from the State of Tennessee, NBRC RRT credential, BLS, ACLS, PALS. • For Bartlett Hires - NRP-NICU CRT; NRP CRT
