Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care, collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support patients requiring respiratory therapy and critical care services.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Respiratory Care

  • Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patient conditions
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments
  • Manage invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation
  • Assist with airway management and artificial airway support
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and document care accurately
  • Support physicians and nursing teams in delivering patient-centered care

Emergency & Critical Care Support

  • Respond to emergency respiratory situations and resuscitation efforts
  • Assist with ventilator-dependent patient transport
  • Maintain airway integrity and patient safety during emergencies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care

Operations & Compliance

  • Follow hospital policies, respiratory care protocols, and infection control standards
  • Ensure respiratory equipment is properly maintained and operational
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

  • Active RRT / Respiratory Care Practitioner License required
  • Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate required
  • Current BLS Certification required within 30 days of employment start date

Preferred Qualifications

  • Acute care respiratory therapy experience preferred
  • Mechanical ventilation and emergency respiratory care experience preferred
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills
