Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care, collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support patients requiring respiratory therapy and critical care services.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Respiratory Care
- Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patient conditions
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments
- Manage invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation
- Assist with airway management and artificial airway support
- Monitor patient response to treatment and document care accurately
- Support physicians and nursing teams in delivering patient-centered care
Emergency & Critical Care Support
- Respond to emergency respiratory situations and resuscitation efforts
- Assist with ventilator-dependent patient transport
- Maintain airway integrity and patient safety during emergencies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Operations & Compliance
- Follow hospital policies, respiratory care protocols, and infection control standards
- Ensure respiratory equipment is properly maintained and operational
- Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications
- Active RRT / Respiratory Care Practitioner License required
- Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate required
- Current BLS Certification required within 30 days of employment start date
Preferred Qualifications
- Acute care respiratory therapy experience preferred
- Mechanical ventilation and emergency respiratory care experience preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills
