Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Job

We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Bradenton, FL where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Florida respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• One year experience as an RRT.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or STABLE certification.
• Experience with ventilators and equipment such as Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm.
• Experience using Meditech EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• ICU experience.
• Two or more years of relevant respiratory therapy experience.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900 - 0700.
• Shift requires night coverage.
• Unit uses Meditech electronic medical record.
• Candidates must be able to work in a Level II trauma center environment.
