Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Job

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• One year experience as an RRT.
• BLS certification.
• NICU experience required. Level 3 NICU experience preferred.
• Experience with PB 840 and Dräger ventilators preferred.
• Experience delivering surfactant and participating in neonatal deliveries preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Health System.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift Hours: 07:00–19:00.
• Unit: Respiratory Therapy supporting a 28-bed NICU and pediatric services.
• Patient acuity: Level 3 NICU and pediatric patients; variable patient ratios based on day and coverage.
• EMR: Meditech.
• May be expected to assist across areas as needed and support team-oriented care.
