Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Job

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• Active RRT credential
• Active license in hand
• EPIC proficiency
• Experience with adult critical care, emergency department, extubation, intubation assist, nasal airway placement, nasal airway suctioning, oral airway placement, oral/nasal suctioning, sputum specimen collection, suctioning (ETT, NT), tracheostomy care/management, hand held therapy, bag and mask, ET tube, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Long term care experience

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirement: 4 rotating weekend shifts per month
• On-call required
• 13-week assignment
