Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Job

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board (Oklahoma).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum one year experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience with adult and pediatric ventilator management and arterial blood gas interpretation.
• Familiarity with common respiratory equipment: mechanical ventilators, noninvasive ventilation devices, high-flow nasal cannula systems, and nebulizer/ aerosol delivery systems.
• Ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and participate in rapid response and code teams.
• Effective communication skills and ability to document in electronic medical records.
• Preferred: Experience in trauma, progressive care, or critical care environments.

• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Hours: 7a-7p.
• Typical Schedule: 3x12.
• Position Type: PRN contract; hours are not guaranteed.
• Must be available to work day shift and participate in rapid response or code events as needed.
