Performs a variety of hemodynamic exams to detect lower and upper extremity obstructions as directed by a physician or in response to previous test results. Maintains compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound vascular technology or cardiovascular program with 1 year of vascular technology experience OR 5 years of experience as a Registered Vascular Tech RVT.
Registered Vascular Technologist RVT from ARDMS
Experience with all types of vascular ultrasound studies including: • Carotid • Aortic • Renal • Mesenteric vessels • Lower extremity arterial • Venous insufficiency • Upper extremity arterial • Venous
Experience with performing lower extremity arterial studies such as: • Ankle-Brachial • Pulse Volume Recordings
Experience with Saphenous Vein ablation
Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
