Job Overview:
This position is responsible for performing all duties related to non-invasive testing and must be able to interpret all tests performed as well as recognize when further testing may be necessary. The position assists in the direction and education of new technologists as well as students and the collection of research data when applicable. This position also supports Quality Improvement activities in accordance with IAC regulations, and through initiatives as defined by TriHealth Cardiovascular Testing Services.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in Quality Improvement activities, research studies, ICAVL accreditation process, and act as clinical educator/resource person as needed
Maintains appropriate communications with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
Demonstrate professional growth through credentialing, CEU activities and staff meeting attendance.
Demonstrates clinical competency in performing non-invasive vascular testing.
Accurately manages manual/electronic records, charges, logs, and all pertinent data.
