Pacific Animal Hospital is growing and we are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our outstanding and expanding team!

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who want to fully utilize their education and expertise while making meaningful connections with clients and their pets.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
  • Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
  • Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian’s orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient and client care, and ready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Schedule:
We offer flexibility with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. Saturday availability is required. Full-time team members enjoy a four-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, while part-time team members are scheduled for 8-hour shifts.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

  • Compensation: $28-32 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

  • 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
  • Current Registered Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
  • Proficiency in the following skills:
    • Venipuncture and cystocentesis
    • Placing IV catheters and administering injections
    • Anesthetic induction and monitoring
    • Dental prophy, charting, radiographs and extractions
