Veterinary Assistant/Registered Veterinary Technician

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll support our veterinarians and medical team in providing high-quality patient care while creating a welcoming experience with our clients.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Assisting with exams, treatments, diagnostics, dental procedures, and surgery
  • Safely restraining and comforting patients
  • Gathering patient histories and maintaining accurate medical records
  • Administering medications, SQ fluids, and treatments as directed and permitted by credentialing
  • Supporting in-house lab work and diagnostic imaging
  • Performing venipuncture and catheter placement, calculating drug dosages and fluid rates, monitoring anesthesia, and overseeing patient recovery
  • Educating clients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked hospital environment
  • Collaborating across exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgery to ensure smooth patient flow
What We're Looking For

We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience and are happy to support growth and development within the practice.
  • Veterinary Assistant
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Veterinary experience preferred but not required (CVA a plus)
  • Registered Veterinary Technician
    • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program
    • Current Missouri registration/licensure
For both roles, a genuine love of animals, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude are essential.
