We're currently growing our technician team and anticipate future Lead Veterinary Technician opportunities for those who enjoy mentoring others and leading by example.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you'll play an essential role in providing outstanding patient care while working alongside experienced veterinarians and a supportive team.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring anesthesia during surgical and dental procedures
• Assisting with soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures several days each week
• Performing laboratory diagnostics and sample collection
• Administering medications and treatments
• Providing exceptional nursing care to hospitalized patients
• Educating clients on preventive care, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Supporting a positive, collaborative hospital culture

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license (preferred, but we're open to discussing candidates working toward credentialing)
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to support your teammates

Ideal Candidate:

• 2+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Experience monitoring anesthesia independently
• Comfortable assisting with surgery and dentistry
• Interest in mentoring teammates and growing into future leadership opportunities
• Someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit, collaborative team

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts
• No weekends
• Great work-life balance so you can enjoy everything Asheville has to offer.

Compensation

• $20-$24/hour, based on experience
