We're seeking a RVT with at least ONE year of experience. A demonstrated commitment to animal welfare and health is a must, as is a genuine love for animals. A successful candidate will be able to provide hands-on assistance to patients and perform basic medical procedures. We're looking for a certified licensed vet tech. If you have not taken AND Passed the VTNE, DO NOT APPLY. We will NOT consider you for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform examinations and diagnostic services; laboratory tests and analyses.
- Clean and sterilize surgical tools; administer medications as prescribed by a veterinarian.
- Adhere to state laws on the storage, record-keeping, and dispensing of controlled substances.
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with all other surgeries.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding people skills.
- 1 year experience as a Vet Tech.
- Registered Vet Techs ONLY.
- NO STUDENTS.
- MUST send copy of license with resume and it's application.
