Position Highlights
Schedule (Full-Time): Monday-Friday. Hospital hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with staff shifts typically ranging from 8:15 AM to 5:30 PM.
Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $28 - $32 / hour. The final compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
About You
In this role, you'll work alongside veterinarians and support staff to deliver excellent medical and surgical care while creating a positive, professional client experience. This position is ideal for an RVT who enjoys staying clinically engaged and fully utilizing their skill set.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in California
1+ years of clinical experience as an RVT preferred; newly licensed RVTs with strong Veterinary Assistant experience are also encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated proficiency in:
Surgery assistance
Anesthesia monitoring and intubation
Dentals and radiography
Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
