At Burlingame Road Animal Hospital, our Registered Veterinary Technicians are true medical professionals—not just assistants. Our RVTs manage anesthesia, perform CRIs, run dental procedures independently, and play an integral role in advanced surgical cases, partnering closely with veterinarians to deliver outstanding patient care.

Our caseload includes everything from routine procedures to advanced soft tissue surgeries and select orthopedic cases, giving you the opportunity to continually expand your technical skills while practicing at the top of your license. Supported by a collaborative team that values technician expertise—including a Lead RVT who serves as President of the Kansas Veterinary Technician Association—you'll be surrounded by colleagues who are passionate about high-quality medicine and committed to helping one another grow.

This can be a Full or Part-Time position, with availability needed Monday-Friday & rotating Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Surgical preparation and assisting in advanced procedures
• Patient assessment and perioperative care
• Collaborating with veterinarians and team members to ensure optimal outcomes

• Compensation: $20-$25/hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus Package: $2,000
• CE Allowance: $500 for first year & $1000 every year following

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Veterinary Technician License (RVT) in the state of Kansas
• Strong anesthesia and surgical monitoring skills
• Experience assisting in advanced or specialty procedures preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and patient care standards
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
