We Are Hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician

What Youll Do
• Assist in anesthesia induction & monitoring • Perform dental prophylaxis and digital imaging • Educate and support clients with exceptional communication • Utilize Ezyvet software and Idexx lab systems • Be actively involved in all technical aspects of patient care
What Were Looking For
• Licensed or Registered Veterinary Technician (Washington DC) • Proficient in anesthesia dentistry and client communication • Experience with Ezyvet and Idexx preferred • Positive attitude and strong team spirit

Registered Veterinary Technician Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities:
• Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms • Laboratory procedures, including but not limited to hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals • Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members • Nursing skills, including restraining patients, administering medications, POIVSUBQIM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement, and venipuncture • Surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring
Qualifications:
• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT, or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state) • Associates degree in Veterinary Technology • Pay range of $28-35/hour • $2000 Sign-On Bonus
