Registrar Gogebic Community College se eks candidates for a full -time Registrar . The starting salary for this position is $65,36 2 annually (non -affiliated Grade 7 /Initial Step). Under supervision of the Vice President of Academic Services, the Registrar provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all aspects of student academic records, registration, curriculum and schedule management, grading processes, and academic policy implementation. This position serves as the institution' s primary steward of academic data integrity within the student information system (Jenzabar), ensuring accurate structures, coding, and term -based processes that support enrollment, compliance, reporting, transfer, and student success. The Registrar collaborates across academic and administrative units to ensure consistent application of institutional policies, efficient student services, and a seamless student experience from enrollment through completion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead Academic Records & Policy Administration . • Direct Registration & Enrollment Operations . • Oversee Course & Catalog Management . • Manage Enrollment Rules & Exceptions . • Supervise Grading & Academic Progress Processes . • Maintain Curriculum & Program Structures . • Ensure Reporting, Compliance & Data Integrity . • Veterans Affairs Compliance & Administration . • Articulation Agreements & Transfer Pathways . • Assistance to VP of Academic Service s. • Engagement -internal & external via committees and activities . • Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong analytical and problem -solving skills with attention to detail. • Ability to translate complex policies into clear operational processes. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments. • Commitment to student -centered service and continuous improvement. • Ability t o manage multiple priorities in a fast -paced, deadline -driven environment Required Qualification s: • Bachelor's degre e. • Progressive experience in registrar services, enrollment management, or student information systems. • Demonstrated expertise with student information systems (preferably Jenzabar or similar ERP). • Strong knowledge of academic policies, FERPA regulations, and higher education compliance standards. • Experience managing complex data systems with a high degree of accuracy and integrity. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in a community college or multi -campus environment. • Familiarity with IPEDS, NSC reporting, and curriculum management processes. • Experience supporting competency -based education (CBE) models. • Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement and system optimization initiatives. • 2-3 years of experience in a Registrar's Office.
