The Registrar Services Coordinator provides frontline student service and handles core record processing tasks. This role ensures timely, accurate execution of registration and record maintenance while delivering high quality customer service. Ensures rapid response to registration needs, removing administrative barriers that impede academic progress.
The Registrar Services Coordinator serves as the primary supervisor for student workers and plays a critical role in maintaining operational continuity during peak academic cycles.
This position is funded through a five-year grant. Continuation beyond the grant period is anticipated based on institutional needs and available funding.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide first point of contact service for students, faculty, advisors, and alumni
Process registration requests, adds/drops, withdrawals, and enrollment changes
Maintain student records, including biographical updates and academic standing entries
Process transcript requests and enrollment verifications
Assist with degree application intake and preliminary graduation checks
Support commencement logistics (name lists, honors verification, program accuracy)
Monitor academic calendars and enforce registration deadlines
Maintain documentation, forms, and procedural guides
Escalate complex or sensitive issues appropriately
Qualifications
Associate or bachelor's degree
Administrative or customer service experience (higher education experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage confidential information responsibly
Experience working with databases or student information systems preferred

Full-time, in-person position within the Office of the Registrar.
Frequent interaction with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and external constituents.
High-volume processing periods during registration, grading, and commencement cycles.
Requires sustained attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
Prolonged periods of computer use and data entry.
