Job Summary

The Registration Services Coordinator provides front-line support for registration and academic records functions within the Registrar¿s Office. This position is responsible for assisting students and campus constituents with registration time tickets, holds, registration changes, and academic policies through email and in-person service in the One Stop Shop.

The position supports Registration Services communications by developing standardized registration messaging and ensuring alignment with institutional branding guidelines.

The Registration Services Coordinator plays a key role in fostering a positive work environment with the expectation of continuous improvement and first-class customer service. This position participates in divisional activities as a member of the Enrollment Management Services Division. Collaborative and team-oriented skills with a commitment to student success are essential attributes for the individual in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and external constituents by responding to inquiries related to registration, academic records, registration holds, time tickets, academic policies, and procedures through email, phone, and in-person services within the One Stop Shop.
  • Evaluate student records to determine registration eligibility and resolve registration-related issues, including registration holds, restrictions, and academic standing concerns in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
  • Manage Priority Registration programs by collaborating with campus departments to identify eligible students, maintaining Banner attributes and population selections, and ensuring accurate assignment of registration privileges.
  • Support the setup, maintenance, testing, and assignment of registration time tickets, ensuring accurate student access and alignment with institutional registration schedules and academic calendar deadlines.
  • Assist with the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of Course Program of Study (CPOS) requirements to support financial aid compliance and student registration eligibility.
  • Coordinate the review and processing of institutional withdrawals, registration adjustments, and related record updates while ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.
  • Work closely with Financial Aid and other campus departments to ensure the accuracy of student records, enrollment reporting, withdrawal processing, and registration-related compliance requirements.
  • Create, review, and distribute standardized communications related to registration processes, academic policies, deadlines, and student notifications while ensuring consistency with institutional branding and communication standards.
  • Contribute to divisional and institutional initiatives by identifying process improvements, participating in Enrollment Management Services activities, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering a collaborative, student-centered environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
  • Technological proficiency including Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Experience with database systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Banner
  • Experience working in a Registrars office or institution of higher education

Proposed Salary

38,300 - 45,900

Salary offer will be dependent on candidates experience and qualifications, internal equity considerations, budget availability, and salary administration guidelines.
