    Job Description

    The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill a Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher position.

    Location - Mahopac High School

    Anticipated Effective Dates - 9/26/2026-1/4/2027

    Mahopac High School is seeking a dedicated educator who values strong student engagement and meaningful relationships for a math leave starting September 26th, 2026 and ending January 4th, 2027. The successful candidate will foster a supportive classroom environment grounded in our core values of resiliency, compassion, problem solving, and critical thinking.

    • NYS Math 7-12 certification required
    • Experience teaching Algebra and Geometry preferred
