The Fountain Group is currently seeking a  Regulatory Affairs Associate I for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Clark, NJ .  Details for the position are as follows:



Job Title: Regulatory Coordinator
Location: Clark, NJ (Onsite during training; potential hybrid after training)
Pay Rate: $26.47/hr on W2
Duration: 6 Months (Potential Extension/Conversion)

Job Description

  • Support regulatory compliance for North American and European Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labeling.
  • Conduct hazard assessments and classification of formulations in accordance with HazCom 2024, WHMIS 2022, and CLP regulations.
  • Author and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) using SAP Product Compliance/EHS.
  • Prepare SDS documentation for multiple regions and local language requirements.
  • Review raw material toxicology and ecotoxicology data to determine appropriate hazard classifications.
  • Maintain hazard information and product data within SAP-based regulatory systems.
  • Perform transportation classification reviews for hazardous materials in compliance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.
  • Maintain internal hazard communication databases and support periodic compliance audits.
  • Review and update SDS documentation from contract manufacturers and third-party suppliers.
  • Support regulatory inquiries related to hazard communication, transportation classification, waste management, and chemical inventories.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of SDS procedures and regulatory documentation.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science, or another science-related discipline.
