Position Summary
Technip Energies is seeking a highly motivated Regulatory Compliance Engineer to support the execution of the Commonwealth LNG Project from the Houston Home Office. This position is responsible for ensuring engineering and project activities are developed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, permit conditions, and project specifications throughout the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Start-Up (EPC) phases.
The Regulatory Compliance Engineer serves as the interface between Engineering disciplines, Project Management, Construction, Quality, Environmental, and Operations teams to ensure regulatory requirements are incorporated into project deliverables and that commitments made to regulatory agencies are effectively implemented and maintained.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline from an accredited university.
Minimum 8 years of experience in LNG, natural gas, petrochemical, refinery, pipeline, or energy infrastructure projects.
Previous experience supporting EPC projects during engineering and construction phases.
Familiarity with LNG export facility regulations and industry standards, including:

NFPA 59A
ASME B31.3
ASME Section VIII
API Standards
OSHA regulations
NEC and applicable electrical codes
Working knowledge of regulatory agencies and permitting requirements, including:
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA)
U.S. Coast Guard (USCG)
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
State and local agencies
Ability to read and interpret:
Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
Plot Plans and Equipment Layouts
One-Line Diagrams
Isometric Drawings
Cause and Effect Diagrams
