What will you be doing!
What we are looking for:
Education
Bachelor''s (Honours) or Master''s or PHD in Engineering or Science from a university of recognized standing; OR membership in an engineering or scientific professional organization authorized by statute to establish qualification for membership in that organization.
Experience
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a nuclear operations environment, resulting in a sound technical knowledge of regulatory interactions with the CNSC.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong knowledge of the Nuclear Safety and Control Act and the associated regulatory and environmental assessment processes, and a working knowledge of the Impact Assessment Act, are essential.
Well-developed program knowledge in at least 6 of the 14 Safety and Control Areas.
Demonstrated strong project management skills.
Ability to interact with multiple people and manage the input from several projects in an organized manner.
Ability to work in an environment where tight deadlines are frequent, including document preparation, review and submission.
Security Clearance Eligibility Required
Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat''s "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security."

Location: Hybrid Onsite Eligible
CNL works with employees across our Canadian locations to enable remote work when possible. This role requires that the majority of time worked be at CNL's Chalk River Laboratory site while also providing opportunities to work remotely, where possible, if desired by the employee.
Please note: This is a hybrid position, with a combination of remote work and onsite presence at our Chalk River Laboratory, Ontario.
