    Position Description

    Incumbents in this position participate in activities relating to government and regulatory requirements and compliance. Coordinate the accumulation of regulatory compliance and technical information for submission to various local and state governmental regulatory agencies and interprets and clarifies federal, state or local laws or regulations. Establishes and maintains policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations.

    Major/Essential Functions

    • Learn the federal, state and institutional regulations, policies and guidelines pertaining to human subjects research and apply them appropriately.
    • Assists with and facilitates educational activities
    • Facilitate timely communication with the institutitional review boards, faculty, and residents

    • Current certification through the Society of Clinical Research Associates as a Certified Clinical Research Professional OR the Association of Clinical Research Professions as a Certified Professional.
    • 2 years' experience working as an educator in a clinical research capacity.

    Visa Information

    TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.
