Rehab Director (OT or SLP) Full Time - Westgate

Overview

A full-time Rehab Director position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department located in Bangor, ME. This position can consider an Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/ST).

Westgate Center specializes in Dementia Care.  The facility has a 104-bed capacity with a 38-bed assisted living attached.  Westgate is known for its incredible ability to care for their dementia patients and supportive staff.

Qualifications:

A successful Rehab Director will:

• Ensure efficient and effective operations
• Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
• Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
• Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
• Provide occupational therapy services as needed
• Be a licensed occupational therapist or license eligible in the state where employed
• Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
• The ideal candidate will have experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department.

Rate Range: $40/hr - $50/hr
