This position will be responsible for oversight of AdventHealth Dade City and AdventHealth Zephyrhills. Engages in daily operations including clinical and service rounding and develops and delivers clinical content at staff meetings. Determines schedules for licensed and unlicensed staff to best meet patient needs and perform schedule consolidation daily. Serves as a clinical resource for physicians patients and staff escalating issues to management as appropriate. Provides Supervision and clinical guidance and monitors the performance of licensed and unlicensed rehab staff. As required assists with patient care within scope of practice following the specific duties and responsibilities outlined for PT OT and SLP staff. Contributes to and participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports departmental quality standards and initiatives. Participates in marketing to physiciansphysician practices and other stakeholders to build referral relationships and consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events educational lecturesspeaking andor other extensions of clinical expertise to the community. Communicates effectively with patients families and healthcare professionals across care settings. Assists in interviews hiring orientation and competency assessments for staff. Completes annual performance appraisals and approves continuing education requests for clinical staff. Promotes evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through autonomous and collaborative participation in research journal clubreviews teachingmentoringclinical instruction andor clinical practice education within a peer group. Conducts staff meetings completes management reports and resolves complaints independently. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge Skills and Abilities • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Required • Ability to read write and speak conversational English Required • Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills with coworkers and other medical professionals • Excellent organizational skills Required • Proven leadership abilities Preferred • Knowledge of marketing therapy programs Required Education • Doctorate Preferred • Master&39s Preferred Field of Study • inphysical therapy occupational therapy or speech language pathology Work Experience • 1 clinical experience in healthcare setting Required • 1 supervisory experience Preferred Additional Information •Education requirements for this position are determined by the licensing or certification standards set forth by the relevant certifying body.
