    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    As a Rehab Tech, you will assist licensed therapists in providing therapeutic care and support to patients undergoing rehabilitation.

    Every day you will prepare treatment areas, help patients with exercises and mobility, manage equipment, and maintain a safe and organized clinical environment as delegated.

    To be successful, you will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting patient progress and therapist needs within the rehabilitation setting.

    Assists patient with Activities of Daily Living and assigned non-clinical duties as directed by the Nurse, Licensed Therapist, Supervisor or Program Coordinator.

    Collects Laboratory specimens according to hospital protocol, maintaining hospital standard of zero tolerance for mishandled specimens.

    Reports observed or reported changes in the patients condition to the Licensed RN/ Physician or Licensed Therapist.

    Prepares patients for transfer/ transportation to other departments/ areas.

    Performs safe and effective transfers with appropriate equipment.

    Assists patient to cart/ bed or Wheelchair.

    Job Requirements

    • Required:
    • Healthcare education in related area and Aide to the OTR/L, PT, RN, CTRS, SLP-CCC, upon hire
    • Certified Nursing Assistant: AZ, upon hire
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
