Job Summary and Qualifications

The Rehab Therapy Aide will perform selected treatment procedures commensurate with training under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist. You will  maintain patient scheduling, prepare and file daily therapy charges, prepare home programs, inventories supplies and equipment for the therapy department, and distribute therapist correspondence.

  • Assist nursing staff during patient meal times, as assigned.
  • You will maintain linen inventory in therapy gyms and pool area, clean hydrotherapy equipment and hydrocollators, clean mat tables and secure therapy supplies at the end of working day. Complete daily maintenance and equipment checklists
  • Transport patients to and from the nursing unit to scheduled therapy sessions
  • Assist in draping, dressing and undressing patients for treatment
  • Communicate changes in patient status promptly and accurately to licensed therapy personnel

Qualifications You will need: 

  • BLS certification

  • Availability to work  (8a - 4p) and rotating weekends

  • Working knowledge/proficient in use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Certified in Rehab Tech course, preferred
