- Supporttherapists'dailypatientcareandtherapy activities.
- Facilitateeffectivecommunicationwithpatients,families,and caregivers.
- Collaboratewiththehealthcareteamtomaintainpatientsafetyanddeliverpatient-centered treatment.
- Prepareandtransportpatientsaccordingtothepatient schedule.
- Communicatetotherapistsonoutcomes/observationsofpatientcare activities.
- Help to transfer patients to and from facility via the facility van and assist in maintenance of the van when complete
Qualifications
- License/Certification:CPRcertificationpreferred(unlesshospitalpolicyrequires otherwise).
- Education:HighSchoolDiplomaorequivalent preferred.
- HascompletedelementsrequiredforclinicalladderRehabTech orequivalenttrainingin school or on-the-job training.
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the heaviest class vehicle to be driven
- CPR and First Aid Training
- Previous transportation experience required
- Must be at least 25 years of age
