Nexus at Columbia is seeking a compassionate and dependable Rehabilitation Technician (Rehab Tech) to join our therapy team. The Rehab Tech will assist licensed therapists with patient care support, therapy preparation, transportation, and maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment.
The ideal candidate is team-oriented, motivated, and passionate about helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist therapists with treatment setup and patient support activities
- Transport residents to and from therapy sessions safely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment areas
- Clean and sanitize equipment according to infection control standards
- Assist with administrative and clerical tasks within the therapy department
- Monitor and support patients during therapeutic activities as directed
- Maintain professionalism and positive communication with residents, families, and staff
- Follow all facility policies, HIPAA regulations, and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous healthcare or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
- CPR certification preferred
