The Reimbursement Analyst/Accountant is responsible for the effective filing of Medicare/Medicaid and other Third Party Cost Reports to maximize the cash flow through the interim rates and final settlement.
Special Instructions: Remote position Responsibilities:• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports required.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement methodologies.
• Knowledge of healthcare financial reporting and cost reporting requirements.
• Ability to prepare and analyze Medicare and Medicaid cost reports accurately.
• Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret federal and state reimbursement regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in financial systems, spreadsheets, and accounting software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
