The Reimbursement Analyst supports the preparation, analysis, and optimization of reimbursement across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. This role assists in cost report preparation, net revenue analysis, and regulatory compliance while developing a foundational understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
This role is designed to build technical expertise in reimbursement, cost reporting, and financial analytics within a complex health system.
Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Licensure, Certification & Registration:
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in healthcare Finance, Accounting, or analytics
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Exposure to healthcare reimbursement concepts (Medicare, Medicaid, DRGs, APCs)
Familiarity with cost report software (e.g., HFS)
Experience with healthcare financial systems (e.g., Epic, Strata, Axiom)
Basic understanding of net revenue modeling and reserve methodologies
Pay Range:
$55,000.00 USD - $70,000.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
