Job Details:
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 Hours/Week)
Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Job Type: [ local contract]
Contract Length: 13 Weeks Contract
Pay Range: $20/hr - $25/hr. *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Duties: Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent medical billing and collections experience.
- Experience working with commercial insurance payers.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare reimbursement processes.
- Strong understanding of claims follow-up, denials, rejections, and collections.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and medical billing applications.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Typing speed of at least 30 WPM.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Home Health billing experience.
- Hospice or Medicare Part A billing experience.
- Experience with Medicaid, Managed Care, and Private Payer collections.
- Experience using WellSky (Kinnser) and/or Homecare Homebase.
- Associate Degree preferred.
