Job Title: Reinsurance Business Solutions Analyst Warren, NJ (Onsite – 3 Days per Week) Location: Warren, NJ (Onsite – 3 Days per Week) Employment Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Reinsurance Business Solutions Analyst to support a Reinsurance Administration platform that manages the complete reinsurance lifecycle, including Underwriting, Claims, and Accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis within the insurance/reinsurance industry and experience working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This is a hybrid onsite role, requiring candidates to work 3 days per week onsite in Warren, NJ. Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Create detailed Functional Specifications and User Interface documentation.
Document current ("as-is") business processes using Microsoft Visio and design future ("to-be") business processes.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business impacts and define system integration requirements.
Support QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect analysis and resolution.
Manage and prioritize enhancement requests within JIRA in collaboration with business stakeholders.
Ensure solutions align with business objectives and operational requirements.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the Insurance/Reinsurance industry.
Strong business knowledge of Reinsurance Underwriting, Claims, and/or accounting processes.
Proven experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams on large-scale initiatives.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Visio for business process documentation.
Experience using JIRA for backlog management and requirement tracking.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the DXC SICS Reinsurance Administration application.
Experience supporting enterprise reinsurance transformation or modernization initiatives.
Familiarity with system integrations across underwriting, claims, and accounting platforms.
