This role is responsible for acquiring new current account customers from the open market and enhance the relationship with existing customers (managing existing CA portfolio as assigned) by cross-selling products and services as per the profile & need of the customers.
This role drives the current account business for the respective branch and ensure the CA targets for the branch is met.
The incumbent provides service to both existing as well as to NTB current account customers.
This role also handles cross selling of QR & POS and is accountable for adherence to compliance and regulatory norms.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Business
Meet the set targets on current account in terms of open market acquisition & existing customer conversion
Focus on building the current account book for the bank
Understand need and acquire customers who meet the criteria for liability products through either of the below channels:
Leads generated by branch staff and personal leads
Referrals generated from existing customers
Alternate channels
Maintain the database of the prospects, meet select prospects and manage the relationship thereafter
Accompany MSE staffs on the field for actively driving conversion of existing borrowing customers into liabilities customers
Cross sell other products of Ujjivan such as QR, POS, Payment Gateway, OD & TPP and pass on quality leads to respective MSE loan officers.
Share customer insights/product related feedback with the Branch Manager
Customers
Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner; provide prompt, efficient and accurate services
Reduce customer dormancy and customer attrition by continuous engagement / interaction
Resolves the customer queries.
Internal Processes
Guide the customer to fill the 'Account Opening Form'; ensure receipt and verification of KYC documents; obtain customer signatures on all mandatory documents
Strictly adhere & maintain compliance to KYC norms
Drive the cross sell of other products such as QR, POS & TPP
Learning & Performance
Maintain up to date knowledge of the CA liability products and services as well as a working knowledge of other products offered in the branch
Ensure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for self
Ensure goal setting, mid-year review and performance appraisal processes are completed within specified timelines

Minimum 3+ years of experience in retail branch banking (preferable in CA sales)
