Job Summary
The Relationship Manager supports the Bank's mission through effective sales and service, targeted business development efforts and community involvement. Responsible for developing and managing commercial banking relationships in accordance with the Bank's core values and in compliance with the Bank's lending policies and procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
Increase the Bank's profitability by cultivating new business relationships.
Maintain and develop customer relationships, new business, and periodic review of existing loan arrangements.
Negotiate proper loan structures, selling the Bank's credit and non-credit products, real estate, treasury management and other bank functions.
Maintain knowledge of accounting and financial principles, marketing and sales principles, credit analysis, economics, and other bank functions.
Represent the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank's image and develop additional business.
Other duties may be assigned.
Job Skills and Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in business, finance, related field, or relevant job experience.
3-5 years Commercial and/or Real Estate lending experience required.
Formal credit training a plus.
Proven sales track record.
Strong written, verbal, presentation and computer proficiency skills.
Strong marketing, analytical and overall communication skills.
