Job Title: Release Manager

Duration: Contract

Location: Remote

The RDM (Release Delivery Management) Release Manager is accountable for planning, coordinating, and executing complex, multi-phase network infrastructure implementations. This role involves overseeing engineering support and service delivery tasks across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with change and release processes, and managing dependencies to deliver successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in network technologies, excellent communication and coordination skills, and the ability to manage across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams. The RDM Release Manager must also have a thorough understanding of enterprise change management processes, and be skilled in balancing business priorities with technical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate cross-functional network implementation efforts, including engineering tasks and service delivery activities.
  • Facilitate delivery requirements, manage release schedules, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track delivery across multiple phases aligned with change and release calendars.
  • Manage and escalate issues as necessary, including risks, dependencies, and resource conflicts.
  • Work closely with Engineers, Program/Project Managers, and various service providers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to bank change control processes and participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) activities.
  • Support the delivery of solutions across various network domains including:
    • Data Center/DMZ
    • B2B and VOR (Voice Over Radio)
    • Enterprise/Corporate Networks
    • Wealth Management and Branch/Financial Center Networks
    • Wireless LAN and Structured Cabling
    • WAN, Optical, and SD-WAN
    • Emerging technologies (e.g., LTE, Cloud, Virtualized Services)
  • Understand and integrate supporting technology areas such as Voice/VoIP, Video, UC, and Collaboration.
  • Ensure consistent use of standards, templates, and documentation artifacts across projects.
  • Provide effective, timely communication with internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability throughout the release lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent technical training.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role supporting network projects/programs.
  • Strong experience with Change Management , CAB processes , and enterprise release planning.
  • Solid background in IT service delivery within large, complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies, including but not limited to:
    • LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Data Center Networks
    • Wireless, Voice, and Video solutions
    • Virtualization, Cloud Networking
  • Certifications preferred :
    • PMP , ITIL (strongly preferred)
    • Technical certifications like CCNA (plus)

Additional Information:

  • Experience in Financial Services (e.g., Banking, Investment, Insurance) is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, to support global initiatives.
  • Must be adept at creating and analyzing data that supports change/release management processes.
