Position Overview:
- Our client is seeking a Senior Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead an Agile transformation initiative.
- The role focuses on coordinating the successful execution of multiple value streams to support the delivery of high-priority technology products.
- This is a full-time, direct-hire (permanent) position operating on a hybrid framework with the primary site located in Linthicum Heights, MD.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead complex Agile transformations and drive the execution of one or more defined value streams (Release Trains).
- Facilitate and support the streamlined delivery of strategic technology products.
- Balance high-level Agile program management with strategic team leadership.
- Collaborate with software development teams to enhance delivery velocity and build high-quality solutions efficiently.
- Conduct continuous operational risk assessments to proactively mitigate development bottlenecks.
- Manage dependencies across cross-functional infrastructure and product development groups.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an IT-related or business field.
- At least 8 years of proven experience conducting formal risk assessments within complex technical environments.
- Demonstrated experience navigating software development workflows and Agile frameworks.
- Native or bilingual English language proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a matching discipline.
- Direct technical knowledge of scaled agile delivery metrics, framework governance, and release management workflows.
