What you will enjoy doing*

• You will administer predictive programs and condition monitoring for rotating equipment, including centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, turbines, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, and motors; review and monitor rotating equipment condition, including vibration data, lube oil results, pressures, temperatures, flows, loads, and efficiencies to determine equipment health
• Manage Vibration & Oil Analysis Database Management; provide remote troubleshooting support to field technicians to resolve vibration instrumentation and CSI data collector issues; provide vibration data collection training to new employees
• Further, you will determine vibration point locations and develop data collection routes for new and existing equipment; perform hands-on target pointing and installation of vibration systems on rotating equipment; perform field diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Report equipment deficiencies utilizing EAM (CMMS); consult with Regional Mechanical Maintenance Engineer on recommended corrective actions; collaborate with responsible Operations and Maintenance Personnel, Reliability Specialists, and Region Planners to prioritize repairs of identified equipment deficiencies
• And you will identify, justify, and purchase major predictive equipment spare parts
  Participate in RCA by providing relevant vibration and oil analysis history to support root cause analysis efforts
• Also, you will perform other duties related to this function to ensure the reliability of plant rotating equipment
• This position requires a combination of office work and field work, approximately 15% domestic travel, accessibility during off-hours, and the ability to work on and around elevated fixed and rotating equipment

What makes you great

• Associate Degree in Engineering with a minimum of two years of experience in rotating equipment, mechanical maintenance, or reliability engineering in an industrial manufacturing environment or non-degreed with a minimum of five years of rotating equipment maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• You have a Category I Certification in vibration analysis; entry-level knowledge of oil analysis; and knowledge of predictive maintenance methodologies and technologies
• Excellent verbal communication, team interaction, and presentation skills, with strong computer and standard software experience, including MS Office, E-Mail, and CMMS
• Moreover, proficiency with vibration data acquisition software and diagnostic equipment; ability to interpret and analyze vibration and oil analysis data; and knowledge of rotating equipment fundamentals, including assembly fits and tolerance
• You are able to achieve Category II vibration and oil analysis certifications; Emerson/CSI MHM and data collector experience; vibration system installation and grounding experience; shop and field balancing experience; Infor EAM or similar CMMS experience; and experience with rotating equipment including compressors, turbines, gearboxes, blowers, pumps, chillers, and motors
