In partnership with our client, a global leader in metals manufacturing, we are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to support their Calvert, AL facility. The ideal candidate will provide engineering support through reliability processes and function within the highly automated business unit of the Hot Dip Galvanizing Lines to meet the business goals of company. 10+ years’ maintenance experience in heavy industrial environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent engineering experience in a heavy industrial environment
Proficient in performing data analysis on equipment performance.
Proficient in RCM Practices (Reliability Centered Maintenance).
Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders, work in small and large teams
Demonstrates strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to facilitate and lead meetings efficiently and effectively
Logical and critical thinking mindset when addressing problems
Ability to adapt and lead changes when shifts in business demands occur
Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement
Demonstrate the company values of Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Relationships, and Sustainability
Ensure working knowledge of competencies as defined in ISO 14001 (current version), IATF 16949 (current version), and ISO 17025 (current version)
PREFERRED
CMRP Certification
PdM Certification or Qualification (Vibration, Thermography, Oil analysis, Tribology, Motor Circuit Analysis)
CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer)
5+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment (or equivalent industry)
SolidWorks/AutoCad working knowledge
Advanced experience in continuous galvanizing process is a plus.
Working knowledge of SAP
Familiarity with RCFA, Cause Mapping, Kaizen problem solving methodologies
Proficiency in writing technical proposals and communications at multiple levels of the organization
