The Reliability Manager is responsible driving asset reliability improvements across the plant. Addresses day to day plant operational / maintenance issues involving pumps, agitators, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment as well as stationary equipment. Develop long term plans to address key loss areas.
Hours: Monday to Thursday -- 6am to 4:30pm
What you will do:
Develops policies, practices and procedures that improve reliability.
Ensures robust mechanical integrity program that complies with industry codes and company standards.
Develops equipment maintenance and reliability strategies.
Establishes common SAP equipment hierarchy, BOM's, master data, etc.
Develops resolution plans for maintenance items in the plant working with process engineers and maintenance.
Addresses day to day issues in the plant and is the "go-to" person for resolution of those issues.
Participate on teams (both capital and non-capital) to provide a maintenance perspective for requirements of the work.
Assures work is performed safely, correctly and on schedule.
Addresses issues between Nalco and Jacobs to achieve desired results.
Work with project leaders to assure contractors on site meet all safety requirements and are performing the desired work in the field properly.
Work with all levels of the organization to focus on continuous improvement and the Planned Maintenance module of TPM as well as the output of the Maintenance Catalyst effort. Has ownership for maintenance metrics.
Equipment reliability & failure analysis
Root Cause Analysis (RCA), failure modes, bad actor tracking
Familiar with methods like Failure Modes and Effects Analysis and Root Cause Analysis
Rotating & static equipment knowledge
Pumps, compressors, motors, gearboxes
Heat exchangers, vessels, piping systems
Predictive & preventive maintenance
Vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography
Understanding of Reliability-Centered Maintenance
CMMS systems
SAP, or similar for tracking work orders, history, and trends
Basic engineering knowledge
Mechanical systems, some electrical/instrumentation exposure
Ability to read P&IDs and equipment drawings

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $85,900.00 - $128,900.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
