Lead equipment reliability initiatives that impact plant performance
Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment reliability, availability, and overall asset performance. Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring equipment issues. Analyze downtime trends, maintenance records, and equipment performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. Support and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs across the facility. Develop equipment criticality rankings and risk-based maintenance strategies. Partner closely with maintenance and operations teams to reduce unplanned downtime and improve equipment effectiveness. Provide technical support during equipment overhauls, shutdowns, and major maintenance activities. Design and implement mechanical modifications that improve safety, reliability, and productivity. Create and modify mechanical drawings and equipment designs using CAD software. Support equipment upgrades, replacement component design, and machinery improvement projects. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on extending asset life and reducing maintenance costs. Develop reliability metrics and performance dashboards to track equipment health and maintenance effectiveness. Mentor maintenance personnel on reliability best practices and equipment performance improvement strategies. Evaluate new technologies and monitoring tools that enhance reliability and asset management.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline preferred. Experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, process engineering, or a related manufacturing engineering role. Strong background in troubleshooting equipment issues and conducting root cause analysis. Experience supporting equipment reliability initiatives within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of reliability methodologies such as FMEA, RCM, and asset performance analysis. Ability to analyze maintenance metrics including MTBF, MTTR, downtime trends, and lifecycle performance data. Experience developing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies is preferred. Ability to read, interpret, and create mechanical drawings and technical documentation. Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD is highly desirable. Familiarity with machine guarding and industrial safety standards. Experience within safety-focused manufacturing environments preferred. Process engineering experience is beneficial. Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) environments is advantageous but not required. Experience with SAP, condition monitoring technologies, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across engineering, maintenance, operations, and safety teams.
