- Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team building, collaboration, and effective facilitation.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, equipment reliability, and maintenance in heavy industrial or metals-related operations.
- Comfort with up to 50% travel to multiple rolling mills and extrusion plants to support system implementation and coaching.
Work Environment
This role is based in Iowa within a large, modern aluminum rolling mill and extrusion operation that is part of a global rolled products business serving aerospace, automotive, commercial transportation, building and construction, industrial, packaging, and consumer goods markets. The environment is highly industrial and manufacturing-focused, with advanced equipment and ongoing modernization investments. The Reliability Engineer works in a team environment alongside other engineers and technicians, collaborating closely with operations and maintenance personnel on the production floor and in office settings. The organization offers a stable employment environment as one of the largest employers in the Quad Cities area, with a strong emphasis on employee engagement through resource groups, opportunities to get involved in outside work activities, and new employee events. Travel up to 50% is required to support multiple rolling mills and extrusion plants, and relocation assistance of up to $10,000 is available for qualified candidates.
