We are committed to this level of quality in both our product line and customer service, and focus our resources on investigating and implementing new coil coating technologies, developing unique coatings, ink and film systems, and designing multifaceted prints while reducing the cycle time to market. We are able to achieve this "culture of excellence" thru the hard work and talent of the people on our team.

We are seeking a results-driven Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance team to support the maintenance and reliability efforts across fourteen coil coating facilities. This individual will be responsible for driving equipment reliability improvements, reducing downtime, and optimizing asset performance by applying engineering methodologies, data analysis, and continuous improvement strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise in heavy manufacturing, and a passion for sustainable, cost-effective operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Reliability Improvement:

    • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) on critical equipment failures.

    • Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance (PdM) programs.

    • Monitor equipment performance metrics (MTBF, MTTR, OEE) and identify areas for reliability improvement.

    • Assist facilities in managing critical spare parts programs.

    • Assist facilities in the development and management of lubrication programs.

    • Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Collect and analyze equipment and maintenance data to drive decision-making and track asset health.

    • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and reliability tools (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).

    • Project Leadership:

    • Lead reliability projects such as equipment upgrades, replacements, or process optimizations.

    • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams across multiple plant sites to align on best practices and standardization.

    • Asset Management:

    • Support capital asset lifecycle management including design for reliability (DfR) and maintenance planning.

    • Review and refine equipment specifications, PM routines, and critical spare part strategies.

    • Training & Culture:

    • Train maintenance personnel on condition monitoring and reliability-centered maintenance techniques.

    • Foster a reliability-focused culture by promoting awareness and accountability at all organizational levels.

    • Participate in the selection and introductory training of new plant maintenance leadership personnel

    • Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field required. Reliability certifications (e.g., CMRP, CRE) preferred.

    • Experience:

Minimum 7 years of reliability or maintenance engineering experience in heavy manufacturing (e.g., steel, cement, pulp & paper, mining, etc.). Multi-plant or multi-site experience is a strong plus.

    • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in RCA, FMEA, RCM, and Six Sigma methodologies.
    • Familiarity with PdM technologies (vibration, ultrasound, IR thermography).
