The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Analyze equipment failures and performance data to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for significant equipment failures.
  • Optimize preventive maintenance (PM) programs and schedules for critical manufacturing assets.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment design and operational reliability.
  • Conduct criticality assessments and develop asset management strategies for new and existing equipment.
  • Implement and manage computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) data for reliability metrics.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on reliability engineering principles.
  • Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and other reliability tools.
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve asset uptime, reduce maintenance costs, and extend equipment life cycles.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced analytics and machine learning for predictive maintenance.
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent.
  • Strong programming skills (Python, R, SQL) for data analysis and automation.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
