Reliability Maintenance Mechanic – Food Packaging

Step onto the production floor as the go-to problem solver. Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, you will tackle recurring issues at the root, guide upgrades and rebuilds, and mentor newer mechanics so every shift runs smoother than the last.

What a typical day looks like

  • Lead hands-on projects that modify equipment, support new product runs, and execute rebuilds to extend asset life.
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with production, sales, project engineering, quality, and fellow maintenance teammates to turn problems into permanent fixes.
  • Increase throughput by eliminating sources of downtime and streamlining processes on the line.
  • Own recurring maintenance concerns and drive true root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and relay logic systems.
  • Deliver both rapid response and durable long-term solutions for failures, alarms, and equipment instability.
  • Model a positive, professional presence that supports strong relationships across manufacturing, support teams, and leadership.
  • Partner with shift supervisors to pinpoint patterns in failures and implement countermeasures.
  • Take on other responsibilities assigned by the maintenance supervisor as needs evolve.
