Pay Rate: $28 – $38/hour


About the Opportunity

CalTek Staffing is partnering with an innovative technology company at the forefront of advanced thermal solutions used in data centers, consumer electronics, and next-generation computing systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge hardware in a lab environment supporting real-world product reliability and performance.


What You'll Be Doing

As a Reliability Testing Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring product performance, durability, and quality by executing and supporting a wide range of environmental and mechanical tests.

  • Set up and operate reliability testing equipment (thermal chambers, humidity chambers, pressure cycling systems, etc.)
  • Execute test plans based on engineering specifications
  • Monitor tests and ensure accurate, safe operation
  • Collect and document test data, conditions, and results
  • Troubleshoot test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation
  • Support failure analysis by documenting and collecting failed samples
  • Assist engineers in improving test procedures and processes
  • Maintain lab equipment and support preventative maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with lab safety standards and protocols

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in:
    • Reliability testing
    • Environmental testing
    • Lab technician roles
  • Experience working with environmental chambers or similar test equipment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and follow test procedures
  • Basic understanding of instrumentation and data acquisition systems

Preferred:

  • Experience with thermal cycling, humidity, or mechanical stress testing
  • Familiarity with failure analysis and documentation
  • Experience with data acquisition tools/software
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in a lab environment
