Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a test technician, reliability technician, or a similar role in a hardware development environment.
  • Hands-on experience with environmental testing (temperature, humidity, vibration), functional testing, and electrical testing.
  • LOTO experience and familiar with high voltage equipment and systems
  • Strong familiarity with electrical circuits, electrical panels and components
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating various test and measurement equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and analyze issues during testing.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test specifications.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, JMP, Python for data analysis is a plus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.  
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance testing (e.g., UL, FCC).
  • Experience with automated testing systems.
