Newly posted Relief (per diem) position for an OB/GYN at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center (SWMC) in Vancouver, Washington (Portland metro area). SWMC is a 450-bed level II trauma center and community regional referral center.

  • State-of-the art birthing center with 2,200+ births per year

  • Maternal/Fetal Medicine and Neonatology onsite

  • Adjacent to Level III Neonatal ICU staffed by OHSU physicians

  • 32 labor/delivery rooms

  • 3 operation rooms

  • OB Hospitalists and OB Anesthetists onsite at hospital 24/7

  • Clinic work averages 15-18 patients per day.

PeaceHealth Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly rate: $213.24 (Washington state has no personal income tax)

  • Travel expense reimbursed if applicable.

  • Fully paid malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Internship/Residency Program in area of specialty from an Accredited School of Medicine

  • Required: Licensed to practice as a physician in the State (during onboarding process)

  • Required: OB/GYN board certified or board eligible

  • Required: Drug Enforcement Admin Federal Number

  • Required: BLS (during onboarding process).
